Meet the Danish Scout Association (Det Danske Spejderkorps)

Event Description

Det Danske Spejderkorps (DDS) is the Danish guide and scout organisation for children and young people, with over 30 000 members across Denmark. The purpose is to develop active citizens who take responsibility in their own life and society.

In fact what is the Scout spirit? What is the framework in which young people become scouts and guides and how can it impact their daily lives?

JCI Copenhagen International is inviting you to a journey with one of the former chairmen of the Danish Guide and Scout Association. Annesofie Bjerre will guide us in what it is being a scout, and give us a look into what kind of impact the scout and guide movement have in society.
